I stayed at the Bram Stoker for a 2 day conference nearby, I found it very convenient. Good facilities and with the restaurant very easy to get something to eat and relax in the evening.

The gentleman who was working on the bar on the wednesday, I think his name was Joe.. Was absolutely great... One of the nicest people i've met in a long time.

The breakfast on the last morning (sunday) was cold, and we found hairs in it. The other mornings were lovely.

The staff were delightful especially the two ladies who provided the evening meal. They could not have been more helpful.

The room we had was old and in poor condition. Old electrical cables poking through walls and areas of damage to plaster. The bed was very poor and noisy to sleep in. Each movement created quite a deal of noise. Bathroom very dated but on leaving we did notice that some of the rooms had been upgraded and looked quite nice. We may have simply been unlucky in getting a room that had not been modernised. For the cost of 118 Euro's a night was not apparent in the accommodation itself and we felt was not good value.

The staff were excellent! They were very proactive and make you feel comfortable quickly. The location is also excellent.

telephone call facility in the room could help.

    Fabulous

Great value, get up early for breakfast !! shame about the bed size but overall a great place.

Bed sizes too small, but it is undergoing renovation though.

    Superb

Staff were very friendly and helpful, the bar was great with a good atmosphere and the fact that you can get an Indian meal until 10.30 was a real bonus!

Would have preferred self service for drinks at breakfast, young lad was rushed off his feet trying to keep up with orders

It was being renovated. It had a lovely breakfast and the location was good. The staff were also friendly.

The bathroom had not been renovated completely and there were a lot of hairs on the floor on arrival. However the bed linen and towels were clean. I was also disappointed by the mattress. Very uncomfortable.

Attention to detail in room did not exist.breakfast on sunday was a joke. Only the chef existed which resulted in one and a half hour wait. Saturday was not much better, again attention to detail did not exist, for example when we had to ask for milk it was served to us in a whisky glass. There were no cereals or ,juices . the whole dining area was a shambles no cleaning had been done since the night before. No tables had been cleared from previous breakfasts, cutlery was at a premium, the chef had to collect teaspoons from tables already used take them away and we presume wash before bringing them back to the guests. There was no sugar in the room and only 2 milk. The en-suite left alot to be desired. We were extremely disappointed in the whole setup. We would certainly never stay or recommend this hotel. On arrival we were asked to pay up front in case we did a runner, that is what we were told. There was no shaving point, shower gel, the toilet seat would not stay up which did not amuse my husband, bedside lights worked when they felt like it, I. Could go on . most of the faults were easily remedied but no one seemed to care, pure carelessness.

Building and bar decoration looks nice and cozy.

Internet and foreign language, restaurant staff are equally slow and unreliable.

Location and friendly staff There is an Indian restaurant and a Chinese restaurant within the building plus bar food. Great for evening meal without having to travel far

Carpet had not been cleaned Kettle was unusable in room as a previous guest had used it to heat up minestrone soup and it stunk! Smoking appears to be allowed in rooms

    Fabulous

We got a pleasant welcome and it was good to see redecoration work underway; not that it looked like it desperately needed it - just good to see standards being maintained. The bathroom was very good. Irish Breakfast was fine and served quickly.

    Fabulous

Good location - 1 bus to the city aprox 15 -20 minutes Guiet location, not noissy as in the city

The ladies serving breakfast were a bit to slow, we had to remind them several times what we ordered, but they were polite and nice
